Lead & Background Vocalist

Clarence Johnson (a.k.a. CJ) is known for his versatile vocal range and style that allows him to sing almost any genre of music. Throughout the years, he has performed with various bands, honing his skills on large stages and intimate settings. Whether it is Wind Down Wednesday in Atlanta's Centennial Park, performing for the Georgia New Year's Eve Peach Drop Celebration or opening for American Idol winner Ruben Studdard, CJ entertains with the fullness of his vocal abilities. He has trained for these moments and holds a degree in both music education and music business. As a youth, CJ directed and sang in choirs, ensembles, glee clubs, quartets and trios, and was a two-time high school marching band captain as well as a low-brass instrumentalist. CJ began singing in his first R&B garage band at the age of 14, and now uses his talents on the frontline as lead and background singer for the well versed R&B group, N3D.
